How to make Duct Tape Bows

Duct tape bows are probably the easiest of all duct tape projects, and the least time consuming.  But when you are done you have a bow you can wear, put on your wallets, even put in your hair!   You can use many different types of duct tape for this project to match your clothing. You might even try to use College Logo Duck Tape if you are a college sports fan!
In this post I am going to explain step by step how to make duct tape bows.   Please feel free to post a comment or send me an email!

What you will need:

  • 1 to 2 rolls of your favorite duct tape
  • exacto or utility knife
  • rotary cutting mat or similar
  • ruler
  • scissors

Step 1.  Cut two 3-inch strips of duct tape (the main color you would like to use) and place them on the cutting mat as shown.

Step 2.  Flip one of the pieces of duct tape over so the adhesive side is facing up.  Then pick the other piece up and stick the two pieces together (adhesive side to adhesive side).

You can also put tiny rolls of duct tape on the back of the bow for more security on the sides
